Port Blair, Aug 23: A Lecture cum Presentation on Stress management and Mental Empowerment for holistic health was organized by the Coast Guard Region(A&N) and Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association, Port Blair in coordination with faculty of Security Services Wing, Mount Abu on 22 Aug 12.
The event was conducted at Coast Guard Indoor Sports Complex and Inspector General VSR Murthy, President Tatrakshak Medal, Tatrakshak Medal, Commander Coast Guard Region (A&N) was the Chief Guest for the occasion. President Tatrakshika, Mrs. Jyoti Murthy alongwith Tatrakshika members also graced the occasion. The event was well attended by all Commanding Officers, Officers-in-Charges and men from all CG units based at Port Blair.
The aim of the event was to introduce to all members of the Coast Guard fraternity, techniques related to Meditation for enhancing inner strength, stress management and Mental Empowerment for achieving the goal of overall holistic health.
The event culminated with IG VSR Murthy presenting a memento to the visiting faculty of Security Services Wing, Mount Abu and thanking them in their agenda of conducting such programmes for the benefit of the personnel of Armed Forces throughout the country.
