Port Blair, July 05: After the protest at Billyground recently, the Deputy Commissioner of N&M Andaman has taken some crucial decisions. As per the demand of the public of Billyground, 15 seats have been reserved in the STS Express Bus from Mayabunder to Port Blair, which was started recently.
The Deputy Commissioner of N & M Andaman, Mr. Awanish Kumar today informed that this will take effect from the next schedule of the bus that is 7th July, 2019, Sunday. The bus will depart at 12 am from Mayabunder and is expected to reach Billyground at around 1.00 am. Meanwhile, all the Pradhans of nearby Panchayats have been requested to publicize it among the public, so that they can be benefitted from this decision
Meanwhile in yet another great decision, the Deputy Commissioner of N & M Andaman today ordered that the Income certificates and all other documents shall have to issue to the disables within 3 hours after receiving the complete application.
Not only that he enhanced the validity of income certificate from 3/6 months to one year.
Meanwhile, following strict directions of the DC,N & M Andaman the newly constructed Zonal Library has started functioning from the 4th July 2019 at 9.30AM in presence of Mr. Suresh Mazumder, Vice Principal Swadeshnar, Mr. Uttam Mondal, Pradhan, Harinagar, PRI members and few villagers.
DC directed the DEO Rangat to fulfill all requirements as furniture, books etc as early as possible. The DEO Rangat assured to fulfill all the requirements at his earliest. Public in general expressed gratitude towards the Deputy Commissioner of N & M Andaman.
