Port Blair, June 27: Royal Singapore Naval ships (RSN) RSS Valour & RSS Valiant (Victory class Corvettes) arrived at Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands yesterday on a four day visit.The visit aims to enhance India-Singapore naval cooperation and will contribute towards Indian Navy’s efforts to consolidate inter-operability between the two friendly Navies.
The two Navies seek to underscore solidarity and to increase the maritime cooperation between the two friendly maritime neighbours. In addition to professional exchanges at multiple levels, various other interactions have been planned between the two Navies, which include inter-alia sports fixtures between personnel of the two Navies, visits to places of historical and tourist interest like Ross Island, etc.
