Billyground, June 12: The Pradhan of Swadeshnagar Panchayat, Mr. Jayanta Nag today requested the Administration to take strict action against people and company responsible for the collapse of Thoratang Bridge of Middle Andaman.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha that Pradhan alleged that the firm which constructed the bailey bridge over Thoratang did not carried out the work professionally which is also one of the causes behind the accident. He alleged that since last five years no maintenance work of the bridge was carried out. The Pradhan requested the Administration to immediately restore of the bridge.
