Port Blair, June 04: Adding to the growing number of accidents, on the new ATR stretch, one youth of Badmash Pahad died on the spot while two others sustained grievous injuries near Caddle Gunj.
According to reports three youths, residents of Badmash Pahad were riding bike at high speed when the rider lost control and went off the road near Caddle Gunj Water treatment plant.
Pillion rider Ashutosh Mondal, 39 years, died on the spot while bike rider, Kamal Mondal, 24 years and another pillion rider Sauvik Mondal sustained grievous injures and all there were soon referred to G B Pant Hospital.
All three youths are working as labourer in LNT Construction and actually hails from West Bengal.
