Port Blair, July 15: The 109th Birth Anniversary of Late ‘Bharat Ratna Kamraj’ former AICC, President and great leader of the Indian National Congress was celebrated at the premises of Congress Office, Gandhi Bhawan at 10.00 am today in a befitting manner.
At the beginning of the function, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President Pradesh Congress Committee garlanded and offered floral tribute to the portrait of Kamraj and thereafter, floral tributes were offered by all present in the function. Sweets were also distributed during the function. A large number of senior leaders and members of the Congress Party attended the function.
Similar programme was also held at Dairy Farm junction at 09.00 am by garlanding the statue of Kamraj by Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, Pradesh Congress Committee and other leaders.
