Port Blair, Jan 23: The Lt. Governor, A&N Islands, Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd) led the Islanders in paying rich tributes to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his 121st Birth Anniversary today.
At a simple function held at the statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at Marina Park Complex this morning, the Lt. Governor paid floral tributes to Netaji, followed by the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Mr. Anindo Majumdar and the Chairperson PBMC, Mr. Indra Pal Singh. Besides, senior officers of the Administration, prominent senior citizens and general public also offered their tributes to Netaji on the occasion.
