Diglipur, Jan 19: As part of the ongoing 29th Road safety week from 15-21 Police Station Diglipur organized a “Road Safety Rally on 19th January.
The Asst Commissioner Diglipur flagged off the rally today morning at 9 am. The 282 KM distance from Diglipur to Rangat via Mayabunder and back will be covered by 20 Police staff in 10 bikes along with a Police Tata Sumo vehicle.
To support them the students of GSSS Diglipur and staff of PS Diglipur holding banners, placards with catchy slogans related to traffic safety rules rally alongwith the driving school vehicles four wheelers.
Asst Commissioner on this occasion urged the participants and students to obey the traffic rules and follow the road safety measures and conveyed his best wishes on the successful conduct of this programm
Dy.S.P Diglipur, SHO Diglipur, Tehsildar Diglipur,and other officers and staff of PS Diglipur also participated with the participants.

Still the PARKING ONLY FOR BUS is filled with CARS, BIKES, AUTO RICKSHAWS, VENDORS,
THE ONLY ZEBRA CROSSING at BAZAAR area is blocked by vehicles, then how to cross the road,
Parking and movement are not checked & maintained,
PARKING LOTS is allotted to vegetable vendors,
Hawkers, and mobile shops never move from the PARKING AREA.
Foot Paths are dangerous to walk on by pedestrian, mostly are used by vendors, and some vehicles cover the whole length of footpath.
Driving Schools covers whole of the roads to make their customer teach the driving test techniques
