Port Blair, Jan 19: During the ongoing 29th Road Safety Week 2018 from 15th to 21st, 2018 an “Eye Testing Camp” was orgainsed by A&N Traffic Police on 18/01/2018 at PS Aberdeen Conference Hall. Around 150 drivers from APWD, Transport Department, PMT as well as Private Bus, Auto Rickshaw Union, Tour and Travels drivers availed the benefit of this facility by the eye practitioners of GB Pant and Rohini Eye Care Hospital. The drivers were advised for regular checkup for better vision.
Moreover, lectures were delivered at various schools by Inspr. Arjun Prasad at Sagritara School, Inspr. K. S Tiwari at Vivekananda KendriyaVidyalaya, SI S Raja Ra at Nirmala Sr. Sec. School and SI BarunAdhikari at KendriyaVidyalaya – I. Almost 400 students benefitted these lectures.
