Diglipur, Jan 19: The Thiruvalluar cup Leaugue-cum-Knockout cricket tournament inaugurated this afternoon at Vivekananda stadium, Diglipur. This tournament was inaugurated by SHO Diglipur Mr. Mahesh Yadav in presence of Tahsildar Diglipur.
This T-20 Tournament will be held from 19 Jan to 4 Feb. Speaking on this occasion Mr. Yadav extended his warm wishes to the players and appealed to them to play the game with true spirit of sportsmanship. He said that such sports tournaments will help the youth to stay fit & healthy and also provide the youngster better entertainment opportunities.
The inaugural match was played in between Indian Navy and Hi-Tech. Mr. Kanta Rao Asst Director Sports (SYA) , N & M Andaman coordinating this tournament.
