Baratang, Dec 28: Today at around 06 PM at Bolcha area of Baratang a private cargo truck got stuck in road side earth on its way from South Creek to Gandhi Ghat Jetty, causing ATR block for more than an hour.
As per reports when the loaded cargo truck was overtaking a Road roller which was parked in the middle of the road, one of the tyres of the cargo truck got struck in road side loose earth.
It is learnt that several vehicles passing through ATR were stranded at the area, including one Private passenger bus, causing huge inconvenience to passengers.
Later an excavator was brought for removing the road roller from the middle of road. Later by 07:40 pm the block was removed and all vehicles were allowed to move further for their onward journey.
