Port Blair Nov 15: The traditional cake mixing ceremony, considered as the preface to Christmas was organized at Fortune Bay Resort today. The chief chef Mr. Amitabha Bhattacharjee and his team, spearheaded by General Manager Mr. Virendra Thapa of Fortune Bay Resort along with the other senior team members brought in the spirit of an early Christmas today with this event.
The Editor of Andaman Sheekha Daily, Mr. Sanjib Kumar Roy, was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
With all hotel staffs, some guests of the resort also participated in cake mixing. Variety of nuts, cherry, tutti-frutti, spices were poured into trays along with a variety of liquors. This will be stored until Christmas to prepare the traditional Plum cakes. On Christmas Eve, this mixture will be blended with cake batter to make cakes.
