Diglipur, Oct 9: Financial inclusion Camp with special emphasis to Mudra loan and Government sponsored schemes was held on 9th Oct at Subashgram Gram Panchayat hall, Diglipur. This camp was organized by the SBI Lead bank. Apart from SBI Diglipur, Manager, ANSCB and Syndicate bank manager also participated. Chief Guest on this occasion was Member of Parliament Shri Bishnu Pada Ray.
The main purpose of this camp was to intimate the participants that the AADHAR seeding with account number is mandatory now and the last date is 30 Dec 2017. Apart from this various schemes of the government i.e Mudra, Jeevan Jyoti, Atal Pention Yojana etc were also discussed. The Bank manager’s urged the participants particularly the Pradhans of Gram Panchayats to advise the people to link their AADHAAR number to their bank accounts through ATMs, internet banking portals and mobile banking applications all existing bank accounts will have to be linked with AADHAAR number by December 31, 2017 or else they will be declared invalid or lose access to banking.
