Diglipur, Oct 06: Lakshmi puja is celebrated befittingly in Diglipur.This is exactly five days after Dussehra, the day which marks the end of Durga Puja celebration . This is a very special festival,rather a special religious ritual of the Bengalis. Generally, women observe fast all the day and offer special dishes made with utmostcare and purity to the goddess Lakshmi in the evening according to the auspicious time to worship the Goddess. The Lakshmi idols werebrought to homes and worshipped.
