Port Blair, Sep 26: A delegation of YCCI, A&N Island along with the Member of Parliament, Shri Bishnu Pada Ray called on the Union Tourism Minister Shri KI Alphonso and discussed about various future tourism projects to be implemented in the Islands.
The delegation was also informed about the proposal of privatization of islands for holistic tourism and increasing connectivity of the islands under Udaan Scheme. Further informing Mr. Alphonso said that the central Govt. under the leadership of PM Modi will leave no stone unturned to make the islands an international tourist hotspot in the upcoming years. He applauded the efforts and ideology of the youth for coming forward and behind forming the apex body of YCCI, A&N Islands. He gracefully accepted invitation of YCCI to visit the Islands before the end of this financial year.
