Diglipur, Aug 22: To move a step closer to the Open Free Defecation goal, an awareness rally was organized in Diglipur today by the students of from various Govt. schools of Diglipur, GSSS Subhashgram, GSSS Diglipur and GPS Subhashgram carried out rally in Diglipur bazaar for the awareness of Open defecation free India . About 2000 students participated in this programme. During the rally the students raised various slogans by spreading awareness amongst the residents for making the city ODF.
After ending the rally the students gathered in front of administrative building where Nukkad Natak was presented with the message to keep surrounding clean and avail the facility of Govt to construct individual as well as Community toilet in order to make Swachhta in Diglipur. On this occasion, Assistant Commissioner Diglipur, Shri Awanish Kumar also addressed the gathering informing the importance of Swachhta and urged for making efforts to keep Diglipur clean and open defecation free.
