Port Blair, Aug 18: Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar. MoS for Social Justice and Empowerment is on a two day visit to these Islands in connection with “Nav Bharat Manthan” programme. Among other programmes, the Minister attended a programme on Swachcha Bharath Abhiyan at Garacharama, Ward No:18. The Minister held a meeting with the OBC Community and discussed various burning issues related to Local Born Association of these Islands. Dr. Prem Kishen, Chairman, Local Born Association, Shri Mahinder Pal, Organising Secretary(OBC) , Shri B. Eswar Rao, Chairperson, PBMC, Shri N.K.Udaya Kumar, Sr. Vice Chairperson, Shri Dharmender Narayan, Jr. Vice Chairperson, Smti Rubana Aziz, Ward Councillor, other Councillors, BJP Workers, Party leaders and populace of adjoining areas were present in the meeting.
