Baratang, August 17: A woman around 70 years of age namely Veronica Xalxo, fell into a village nallah today after which she was washed away. The incident took place close to the residence of the lady at South Creek Village of Baratang.
As per reports, the lady went to the Village Nallah near her house for some household chores at around 11:45 am, from where she reportedly went missing.
Later on search the villagers found the lady at around 04.30 PM, inside the Nallah nearly 100 to 200 meters away from where she went missing.
The matter was also informed to the Police following which a police team reached the spot and helped the villagers to bring out the Dead Body from the Nallah.
