Port Blair, Aug 07: A Citizens Forum based in South Andaman has decided to hold a Flash Protest Rally on 8th August 2017 against the unjustified load shedding and undeclared power cuts imposed on the residents of South Andaman.
The load-shedding and power cut has not only thrown day to day life of the residents off track, but it has also affected livelihood of many of them. Businesses and other activities are severely affected for the last fifteen days. The peaceful rally will start at 6.00 PM from Tiranga Park and culminate at Raj Niwas. The Citizen Forum has appealed the Islanders to join and support the rally.
