Port Blair, July 25: The unidentified person who had reportedly jumped into the sea from Bambooflat Ferry yesterday evening, is still missing. Continuous search operation by Police Marine Force and Coast Guard yielded no result as the person had reportedly jumped into an area where there is a heavy current of water.
Sources said that although the victim has not been identified yet but there are news that a police, one police constable, resident of Bambooflat area, has not returned home since last night. Police is still trying to establish the identity of the person who had attempted this suicide.
