Port Blair, July 25: The Member of Parliament, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray has demanded to grant age relaxation to the contractual employees working as “Ayah” since 11 years in the GB Pant hospital under NHRM scheme for appearing in the MTS exam under medical department.
In a letter addressed to Lt. Governor he said that the candidature of some candidates appearing in the written test for the post of MTS to be held on 30.07.2017 have been rejected on the ground of overage without considering the administration circular dated 19th June 2011 regarding age relaxation for SSCT/Adhoc/contractual/DRMs despite which the individuals have submitted their applications for the relaxation of age.
Further Mr. Ray had requested Lieutenant Governor to consider the case and allow the said employees for the MTS exam to be held on 30.07.2017.
