Diglipur, Jul 13: The Department of Goods & service Tax in association with Chartered Accountants today organized Outreach Program of GST at Community Hall of administrative Building at Diglipur.
The members of business community, dealers, PRI members, HOD’s of administration and general public attended this programme. Power point presentation of GST Act and its smooth implementation and registration were discussed in this programme. All issues and problems coming to the notice in implementation of GST are being tried to resolved and concerted efforts are being made for implementation of the GST in the islands in an effective manner.
Joint Commissioner (GST) Shri Kalyan Ghosh , Mr. Ahmed Hasim Badat, Chartered Accountant of A & N Islands and other GST experts who are specially enrolled for this purpose, participated in this training.
Hands on training on the GSTN Portal were also conducted.
Speking on this occasion Asst Commissioner Diglipur, shri Awanish Kumar , IAS said that ‘A counter for shops registration and GST Registration opened for the benefit of the traders in the administrative building at Diglipur.
