Billyground, Jun 07: A Maruti Suzuki car bearing No AN01 H 5997 which is on hire with SBI Diglipur hit a lady at Billyground today around 09:45 am.
The car was on the way to Rangat SBI from Diglipur for cash transportation to SBI Diglipur.
A lady namely Smti Chandra Devi (55) w/o Mainu Ram r/o Duke Nagar, N0-3 who was crossing the main road was badly hit by the car. Police arrived at the spot immediately and took her to PHC Billyground. A case was registered against the driver Mr. Prakash Bairagi and later released him on bail after the arrest as it was a bailable offence. The PS Billyground is further investigating the matter.
