Rangat, May 31: The women folks of Nimbatala Village today staged a protest in front of a local bar of Nimbutala, after the Bar resumed operation today, after a long time.
The Women residents of the village alleged that if the operation of the Bar resumes most of the men in the village will spent their entire money in drinking, which will ultimately hit their family hard.
It is learnt that around 100 women combined together for the protest at around 05:00pm and after the Assistant Commissioner asked them to give a written complaint to him for taking up the matter, the protest ended.
Andaman Sheekha also learnt that for now it has been ordered to keep the Bar closed for two more days.
