Port Blair, Mar 05: A skeleton of a female was recovered on Feb 28th from Nimbu Bagicha area near Chouldary. Although initially police found it difficult to identify the lady but now police investigators are claiming that the skeleton belongs to a resident of Anarkali Village of Port Blair.
Putting enormous efforts since last 3 days, the entire team of Ograbraj Police Unit under the supervision of SHO Rizwan Hassan has found that the skeleton belongs to a mentally challenged lady, who was reported missing from Anarkali Village since last 2 months. However, police department is waiting for DNA reports, to establish the identity of the lady, officially.
A missing report of Anakali lady was registered in the Chatham Police Station nearly two months back.
Investigators suspect that the lady died due to starvation.
