Mayabunder, Feb 14: In partial modification of the office’s Press Note No.4-99/Genl/DC(N&MA)/2017/550 dated 09th February, 2017, the dates and location of Medical camp for identifying eligible disable persons for implementation of Centrally Sponsored Scheme for providing physical aids and assisted-living devices to Senior Citizens belonging to BPL Category/Economically weaker section of the Society is scheduled to be organized by the District Administration, North & Middle Andaman District in the Centres mentioned as per the schedule i.e 21.02.2017 from 09.00 am at Primary Health Centre, Kadamtala (for Baratang & Kadamtala), 22.02.2017 from 09.00 am at Community Health Centre, Rangat, 23.02.2017 from 09.00 am at Dr. R.P. Hospital, Mayabunder, 24.02.2017 from 09.00 am at Community Health Centre, Diglipur
The Medical Camp headed by the Chief Medical Officer, Dr. R.P. Hospital, Mayabunder along with Medical team shall undertake basic medical tests to assess level of requirements of hearing aids, spectacles, dentures etc, to provide the Aids and Assisted Living Devices to eligible elderly beneficiaries, depending upon their physical impairment under the Scheme.
All the general public of the respective area under North & Middle Andaman are hereby requested to take an advantage of the aforesaid Medical camp and approach the concerned Health Centre on the aforesaid date and time.
