Port Blair, Feb 14: A camp was organized by Gram Panchayat Mannarghat, in coordination with NABARD & Social Welfare Board on 11 – 02 – 2017 at Community hall Malapuram under Mannarghat Gram Panchayat. Altogether more than 175 Nos. of villagers were present & participated in the programme.
During the camp Shri Hement, GM, NABARD delivered valuable speech to the present gathering on the subject how to achieve target from their prospective plan. He also announced to provide the financial support to Gram Panchayat for setting up Rural Haats of Rs. 10,00,000/- under the policy for “Financial Assistance towards Marketing initiatives of NABARD”.
During the programme, Smti Poonam Arora, Chairperson, Social Welfare Board, A & N Islands briefed on “Ill Affects of Drug abuse on Alcoholism on day to day life”.
