Baratang, Feb 06: The Bye election held for Gram Panchayat Member Constituency, Nabagram-03 & Nilambur-04 of Nabagram & Nilambur Gram Panchayats under Diglipur & Rangat Tehsils yesterday, has won by the Congress Candidates.
As per details available, the Counting of votes was held on 06.02.2017 wherein, the Returning Officers, Gram Panchayat Nabagram-03 & Nilambur-04 after counting of votes declared the final result.
Jayanti Jyoti of INC has been elected as Gram Panchayat Member Constituency, Nabagram-03 by defeating Putul Roy of BJP, Jayanti Jyoti received a total vote of 100 whereas Putul Roy received 84 votes.
R Kannathal of INC has been elected as the Gram Panchayat Member Constituency, Nilambur-04 Gram Panchayat under Rangat Tehsil. R Kannathal received total 66 votes whereas Karolina Lakra of Jan Kranti Party received only 1 vote and Sukru Tirkey of BJP received 32 votes.
