Port Blair, Jan 12: On the 154th birth anniversary of ‘Swami Vivekananda’ the cadets of the Army & Navy NCC units located at Port Blair took out a rally in Aberdeen Bazar, Port Blair. The cadets not only promoted the ideals of Swami Vivekananda during the rally but also promoted & educated the locals & vendors on the advantages of ‘Cashless Transaction’ and ‘Digital/E-Payments’. The cadets also interacted with the youth in the area & asked them to adopt & promote ‘Cashless Transactions & Digital/E-Payments’ in their families & neighbourhood.
The message given to the Youth by Swami Vivekananda ‘Get up and pursue your goal relentlessly; rest only when you achieve your goal’, is relevant today also and is the motto which needs to be followed by our youth today.
