Diglipur, Jan 12: Vivekananda School, Diglipur today celebrated Swami Vivekananda’s 153rd birth anniversary. The function showcased various facets of Indian culture, including dance, music speeches on Vivekananda life and message organized on this occasion. It was a splendid display of students’ talent in the field of the creative performances of dancing, singing and acting. The formal programme started with ceremonial lighting of lamp and offering floral tributes to Swami Vivekananda by UP Adhyaksh Shri. Subod Mondal. The Principal of the school presented the Annual report and awarded meritorious students for their excellent performance in academics and co-curricular activities; in his welcome address he lauded the students and teachers for their excellent display of enthusiasm, talent and team spirit. PRI members, teachers along with parents and general public attended the function.
