Port Blair, Dec 19: On 1412.2016 a camp was organized by South Andaman Police at Police Station Havelock for the awareness on cashless transaction. Branch Manager, SBI, Havelock Shri Anjani Kumar along with his Assistant Shri Surjit explained about the use of mobile for payment and also informed the types of apps through which transaction can be made in presence of SDPO/Havelock. Altogether six sub-inspectors and twenty five Head Constables and Constables including of Fire Service, Communication and Police Marine Force attended the camp. More such type of camps will be organized for vendors/Merchants of Havelock, Hut Bay and Neil Island in future in association with the Bank officials for promoting cashless transactions.
