Port Blair, Dec 05: A review meeting of Village Development Plan under Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) was held on 5th December, 2016 at Office of the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman District under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman with concerned line departments/agencies. In the Meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the department wise priorities as submitted by the Member of Parliament, A & N Islands.
Further the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman reviewed the progress of works which is going to inaugurate & laying foundation stone in the month of December 2016. The Names of these works are C/o Youth Club at Tank Basti, Ferrargunj ward no 2 under Gram Panchayat; Anganwadi at Jirkatang at Ferrargunj ward No.3; Traffic Pole/Umbrella at Ferrargunj junction; Police Chawki at Cattlegunj; CC Road to ATR to Velankani church; Zonal Library at Ferrargunj; Stadium at Ferrargunj ;Nos of Class Room and Science Lab; Raising & strengthening of JingaNalla Dam; Ring well ward No. 1 & 2 ; Fish Market at Ferrargunj Junction and Star Ticketing Counter at Ferrargunj Junction.
