Port Blair, Nov 28: A six feet long King Cobra, yellowish in color was rescued from a house situated at Kodiyaghat this afternoon.
As per reports, the King Cobra Snake was first sighted by the house owner after which he immediately informed the Forest Department.
On information a team under the overall supervision of Deputy Ranger Manjit Singh rushed to the spot and rescued the snake. The snake was 1.5 inches thick and was weighing around 2.2 kg.
