Port Blair, Nov 28: An auto driver by profession Mr. Khasim has won hearts today. South Point resident, Khasim S/o Koyanhi Mullahi an Auto Rickshaw Driver by profession, today returned a Laptop bag to its owner, when he found that they have left Laptop bag in his auto.
As per reports, Dr Amitha AJ and her husband were on a visit to these Islands and were staying at Hotel Pride Residency, Junglighat.
The couple went out this evening for an outing and while they were returning to their hotel in the Auto Rickshaw of Khasim, they forgot their Laptop bag in the Auto Rickshaw.
Sources said that as soon as they came to know that they have left their Laptop in an Auto Rickshaw, tensed couple informed it to the Aberdeen Police Station after which SHO Aberdeen Police Station, Inspector Mahesh Yadav immediately constituted a team comprising of Sub Inspector Dinesh Meena and HC Hentho and started the search for the Laptop.
But much before that the Auto Rickshaw driver came to the Hotel Pride Residency and returned the Laptop back to the owners, when he found that such bag has been left by the passengers.
The honesty of the Auto Rickshaw driver and support from the Andaman Nicobar Police was highly appreciated by the couple from Bengaluru.
