Mayabunder Nov.27: Lok Adalat held at District Court building at Mayabunder in presence of Hon’ble Justice Siddhartha Kanjilal, District and session Judge and Chairman, District Legal Service Authority, A & N Islands, Shri Ayan Kumar Banerjee, Hon’ble CJM of Mayabunder and Shri Sukumar Mondal, JMFC, Mayabunder.
More then 300 pending cases related to various departments were solved by the bench. Shri Saw Tatu, Adyaksha, Zilla Parishad was also present during the Lok Adalat.
The pending case of N & M Andaman which was delayed from many years was solved and the people, who were frustrated due to the delay, were happy with Lok adalat. Mostly the cases were from State Bank of India, BSNL and State Co-Operative bank.
