Port Blair, Nov 20: Family members and relatives of Late C Chandran, 76 years resident of Buniyadabad, reportedly pelted stones on the doors of Doctors’ cabin in G B Pant this evening at around 07:00pm after C Chandran died in the hospital due to alleged delay in Doctors arrival, after call.
As per the family members present at the Hospital, C Chandran suffered a Heart attack after which they immediately brought him to the hospital but even after reaching the hospital on time instead of a Doctor he was treated by a Senior Nurse due to unavailability of a Doctor.
The family members said that due to this delay, patient C Chandran died after nearly 15 minutes. It is learnt that on information a team of Police reached the spot and controlled the situation. Further investigations are on.
