Diglipur, Nov 11: The house of Shri Rabindranath Baroi was totally gutted at Shyamnagar, ward No.2 at Hathi level due to fire On November 11, 2016.
The victim was not at the house at the time of fire.
Soon the fire station Diglipur was intimated and two fire tenders rushed to the spot. The spot was about 32 Km from Fire Station Diglipur.
During this time the house alongwith the separate kitchen and a bike reduced to ashes.
Soon the disaster management team also visited the spot.
Taking prompt action the District Administration of North and Middle Andaman deposited a cheque, consisting of compensation amount of Rs. 98,900 in the bank account of fire victim.
Meanwhile, house hold articles were also issued to the family by Disaster Management team.
It has been learnt that the Deputy Commissioner N & M Andaman, Shri Arava Gopi Krishna also visited the victim at Shyamnagar on Friday.
