Port Blair, Nov 03: In the matter of scuffle between a Senior Army officer and civilians at Havelock Jetty, the court of inquiry has already begun at the Army Court.
The court has already recorded the statement of the various witnesses like the son of the victim, Mr Sanjay MS, the victim Mr. AK Shreedharan, CISF, Sub-Inspector Ravichandran, Manager of the tourist boat Makruzz etc the day before yesterday at Army Court situated at number one infantry Battalion Birchgunj.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha, the command PRO Colonel Yogesh Sharma said that the Command has to get statements of some more witnesses like the Doctor of the Havelock etc.
“Till now the draft of the statement given by the witnesses has already been submitted to the court,” Colonel Yogesh said.
“We were treated extremely well and with full dignity at the Army Court, which we appreciate a lot,” said Mr Sanjay MS one of the witnesses.
