Port Blair, Nov 03: The Andaman Nicobar Police has registered a case against the officer of 20 Grenadiers, for negligence in the matter of death of an Army Jawan.
As per reports, based on a complaint by Subedar Jahir Khan of Charlee Company, Birchgunj that the incident took place due to the negligence of Fire Extinguishers inspection team of 20 Grenadiers, Indian Army, the FIR under section 304 (A) has been registered by the Tylerabad Police Station.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha over phone yesterday, the PRO of Andaman Nicobar Command, Colonel Yogesh Sharma said that the ANC has already ordered an inquiry in this regard.
