Port Blair, Oct 28: On 28th October 2016 on a tip-off, a raiding team under the leadership of Inspr. Hari Narayan, SHO, PS CCS conducted a raid at School Line Ranchi Basti near Community Hall and recovered 53 bottles 750 ml of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) which was supposed to be stored clandestinely for sale during dry days. In this connection one Smti T. Jyothimani, 40 yrs. R/o School Line Ranchi Basti was arrested under excise Regulation.
This is one of the largest haul of IMFL seized by CCS Staff on a tip of information received from informer and Police will continue to fight against this menace to eradicate the illegal trade of illicit liquor and IMFL from these Islands.
