Port Blair, Oct 28: The President, Pradesh Congress Committee, Mr Kuldeep Rai Sharma and other leaders of the party have extended their greetings to the islanders on the occasion of Diwali. “The festival of lights is an occasion to share our happiness with those who are disadvantaged and underprivileged. The diyas lit on the moonless night of Diwali signify the end of the darkness of unawareness and the beginning of light that enlightens all. On this day, we should dedicate ourselves in spreading the message of compassion, love, brotherhood and peace,” said Mr Sharma wishing peace and prosperity for the islanders.
