Kalighat, Oct 13: Continuing with the special drive to check the operation of Bars in the N & M Andaman, an inspection team of District Administration after inspection in Kalighat detected gross violations of the bars guidelines in five bars.
Following this, Licence of all the five Bar Owners have been suspended and they have been asked to Show cause as to why their Bar Licenses should not be cancelled for the foresaid violations of terms & conditions of guidelines prescribed for such Licenses. Names of the Bars whose Licenses have been suspended are Creek Restaurant, Purna Pushpavalli Bar & Restaurant, North Bay Resort, Kishorinagar, BRB Hotel Kalighat, Ashoka Bar, Kalighat. With this total number of Bars closed in N & M Andaman raised to 13.
