Mohanpur, 15 Sep: In yet another road accident on Andaman Trunk Road, a cargo truck hit SS Transport AC bus yesterday morning.
The SS Transport AC bus AN01 H3926 reportedly left for Diglipur at 7AM from Port Blair and reached Mohanpur at 4PM. After refreshment when the bus started for Diglipur a cargo truck, which are going towards Mohanpur gave passage to the Bus but another truck which was coming from other side smashed the bus head on. The windshield of the bus was totally damaged.
The bus was fully packed with passengers but luckily no one suffered any injuries. The bus finally reached Diglipur at 8PM.
