Port Blair, Sept 01: The department of Agriculture South Andaman, in association with National Horticulture Mission will be celebrating “World Coconut Day” tomorrow (2nd September 2016). The programme will start from 10. 00 am in the conference hall of the Office of the Assistant Director (Agri), South Andaman, Goal Ghar. The Secretary (Agri), A&N Administration will be the chief guest.
About 60-70 coconut growing farmers of South Andaman District and Extension functionaries of Department of Agriculture will participate in the programme.
