Port Blair, Sept 01: The power supply will remain suspended in connection with carrying out HT and LT line clearance work and maintenance of T&D system and cutting of trees of various places in South Andaman from 8 am to 2 pm on Sept. 3, 2016. The areas to be affected are Bambooflat to Hopetown, Bambooflat to Wimberlygunj, Wimberlygunj to Ferrargunj, Wimberlygunj to Shoalbay, Ferrargunj to Caddlegunjg and Ferrargunj to Jirkatang, Guptapara, Sitanagar, Linedera, Manjery, Manglutan, Wandoor, Humfrygunj, Sippighat, Teylerabad and Bimblitan, Lal Pahad, Nimbu Bagicha, Badmash Pahad, Naya Basthi, Ograbraj, Mithakhari, Tushnabad and Tirur.
Similar power cut will also take place from 0800 hours to 1400 hours on 03.09.2016 (Saturday) for maintenance of T&D system at Minnie Bay and Dollygunj. The areas to be affected are Dollygunj, Old Pahargaon, Minnie Bay, School Line and part of Lamba Line.
