Port Blair, Sept 01: A massive cleanliness drive was conducted as part of the Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan by the NCC Cadets of Govt. Model Sr. Sec School, Port Blair at their school campus on 31.08.2016.
The NCC Cadets collected degradable and non-biodegradable wastes in separate bags. The Principal of the school, Dr. Dheeraj Kumar, who was present on the occasion commended the NCC cadets and the NCC unit for such important social activities and called upon the other students to develop a sense of responsibility within themselves towards making the school environment clean.
The whole event was coordinated by the caretaker of the school Shri. Simachalam.
