Port Blair, May 22: The Union Minister of State for Agriculture & Food Processing Industries, Dr. Charan Das Mahant is scheduled to arrive at Port Blair on May 23, 2012 on a three-day visit to the islands.
The itinerary of the Union Minister of State during his stay here includes meeting with Secretary (Agriculture) and other concerned officers of Food Processing Industries and Department of Agriculture, A&N Administration, visit to Ice Plant constructed under the scheme of RKVY at Garacharma and Sipighat,visit to Fish Processing Plant at Dhanikhari and meeting with the local fishermen at Baratang.
On completion of visit, the Minister will leave for mainland on May 26, 2012.
