Diglipur, 17 July: The Tamizhar Sangam Diglipur conducted Tamil Language classes in the premises of Tamizhar Sangam at Diglipur for the last three months for the benefit of children up to the age of 15 years.
About 50 students participated in these classes.
The concluding programme held today at the Tamizhar Sangam today, in which students and members of the Tamizhar Sangam participated.
The best participant students were awarded by the president and other members of the Sangam.
In his brief speech the president Shri P R Singaram spoke about the importance of the Mother tongue in various places and he also appreciated the Tamil teacher Mrs Sanmuga Tai who without payment, taught the Tamil language to the students. Secretary Shri K V Raj proposed vote of thanks to the participants.
