Port Blair, Apr 12: “Beach Festival – 2016” is scheduled to be organized from 22nd to 24th April, 2016 at Corbyn’s Cove as done every year. Beach Festival’ is organized every year with the concept of popularizing the Beaches apart from providing sundown entertainment to the Islanders as well as to the visiting tourist.
During the festival, Beach Sports competitions will be organized at Corbyn’s Cove to encourage more participation from general public and tourists. It is proposed to organize Beach Volley Ball for men and women, Tug of War for men & Women, Coconut tree climbing for men and Musical chair for women and children and suitable cash prizes will also be distributed to the winners.
Interested participants may register their names for participation in Beach Sports competitions to Shri G. Nageshwar Rao, ( 9434270758), Basket Ball Coach at Netaji Stadium, Port Blair on any day during working hours.
