Port Blair, Jan 13: The President, Pradesh Congress Committee, Mr Kuldeep Rai Sharma and other leaders of the party have greeted the islanders on the occasion of Makara Sankrati, Lohri and Pongal. In a release, Mr Sharma wished peace, prosperity, joy and happiness for islanders. The harvest festival is an occasion to recognize the contribution of the farmers towards the well being of the country, said Mr Sharma.
